Tuba, an enthusiastic self taught artist, born in 1976 in Istanbul, started her career in her father’s factory, who was a designer and furniture manifacturer. In that same factory, she started making her very first paintings.
Growing up, she continued to flirt with amateur painting, being mainly inspired by Istanbul, its beauty, colors and historic richness of the ottoman times.

A landmark in Tuba’s life were the few years she lived in Japan, where the diverse culture and intense, vibrant colors enchanted her and led her to the next level in her art exploration.
The last decade finds Tuba living in Cyprus, the place she now considers her home.
