Istanbul Art and Antiques Fair, which brought our country to an important point in the field of culture and art while representing our country on the international platform, was the meeting point of art lovers at Istanbul Congress Center and Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center between 03-07 November 2021. Visited by 32.000 people during the fair, the 2nd Istanbul Art and Antique Fair hosted 10 thousand antique objects from 40 antique shops, more than 1200 artists from 60 art galleries and 5 thousand works of art on an area of ​​​​approximately 25 thousand square meters for 4 days.

The 2nd Istanbul Art and Antique Fair, organized by Demos Fairs, which brought the world of art and antiques together under one roof for the 2nd time, was held between 3-7 November 2021. The event, which was opened with the piano recital of our world-famous pianist Gülsin Onay and with the participation of our Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras, attracted great interest. In the fair, which hosted thousands of art lovers for 5 days, the works of many local and foreign artists were appreciated; The Ottoman Palace Clock, antique perfume bottle collections for over 100 years, porcelain items that have been kept undamaged for centuries, rare items that have witnessed our history, antique carpets and many other valuable works of art attracted great attention from the visitors. Interviews, panels and sessions held within the scope of the fair, art,

Art and Antiques Met Under a One Roof

Expressing that the activities in the field of art continue without slowing down, Demos Fairs General Manager Hüseyin Aslan said, “As Demos Fairs, we are happy to bring together art and antiques, which have not been done for 25 years, under one roof. We wanted to bring this project to life and we succeeded. Approximately 120 companies took part in our fair. In this context, the fair is an organization where contemporary art, recent Turkish painters and antique objects that have left their mark on our history are hosted. I think that the Istanbul Art and Antique Fair offers a different experience to both art lovers and antique lovers. We met with intense interest and the comments made us very happy. We will continue our work in the coming years,”he said.

The fair was sponsored by the BABYLON NFT Marketplace. BABYLON talked about new developments about NFT and transformed the works of new artists into NFT in an area of ​​500 m2 at the fair. The stand was met with great interest.
